About Stark Farm Community Garden

A few neighbors started with the idea for a community garden during the 2020 pandemic, and with the help of many, Stark Farm Community Garden was born. 

Located in the historic meadows of Stark Park, the land was envisioned as a “farm style” collaborative production garden, much like the original historic Stark Farm.

The Abenaki nation also farmed this land along the Merrimack River for millennia. To celebrate this rich history, sustainable organic and heirloom practices are encouraged.

Today, gardeners sign up for individual plots with an option to also participate in a farm-style collaborative garden for the whole growing season. Interested in learning more?
